How could Biden ever make it through a campaign for Prez and NOT self-destruct?

  2. jms60t5 Says:

Better one: anyone believe the electorate will be the 25% Republican the pollster polled?

  3. Dave Says:

If Hillary were to run 3 years from now it would be pathetic. The same would be true of Biden. Cuomo would have some cred…..particularly from a Leftist perspective. Someone like him, or an O’Malley, could make the case for their ideology and run a vigorous campaign.

I can’t see Christie making it through a Republican Primary. But Ryan or Rubio could. I would look to one of them.

  4. mike Says:

    McCain, Romney, Ryan/Rubio.

    Same guys. Same results.

  5. Long Island Republican Says:

I say watch Cuomo. The man is a very skilled politician and his SAFE Act is going to make him a hero on the left. Moderate fiscally, Watch him. Do not underestimate him. Biden is a bum, no way he gets the nomination. I still say Hilary Clinton and Paul Ryan will NOT run.

My prediction is Cuomo/Rubio. That is what the cards seem to say, at least to me.

  6. Dave Says:

    mike,

Any of those 4 would be superior to Obama…..especially true of Romney, Rubio, and Ryan.

  7. Neocon Says:

Remind me again, please, why so many on our side blindly believe that Rubio is our greatest electoral hope?

  8. Johnnash Says:

    7-
Agree with you for 100%. Even Christie who is being mocked up by all folks does better than Marco. Why should we be relying on Marco?

  9. mike Says:

    7. Simple: the party leadership likes him because he’s younger, of hispanic descent, but still fully controllable. He’ll do what he’s told 90% of the time, and he’s seen as a good project manager for the immigration issue. Since the leadership likes him, the party hacks and hero-worshipping party-first flock who wait to be told which empty suit to support (and only then repeat the leadership’s arguments as to why he’s the guy) will follow obediently.

It has almost nothing to do with accomplishments, leadership, or understanding of what he believes.

  10. FloridaSunshine Says:

Wow–Hillary’s numbers stack up dauntingly against the Repubs. Something tells me Giuliani may get in the race or Christie run as an Independent. Here in Florida, Hillary would beat Floridians Rubio and/or Jebby. Again 2016 is starting to remind me of the 1964 Presidential Election. Repubs are trying to find the soul of their party first.

  11. mike Says:

Every cycle there is the “This guy might run as an Independent”. It never happens.
